Guided tour of the old sanatorium with Dr Jerneja Ferlež and Dr Eva Sapač
We invite you to join us in exploring the old sanatorium at 19 Tyrševa ulica, known in the collective memory of Maribor citizens as the children’s dispensary or the lung ward of the health centre, and today one of the most beautifully preserved modernist architectures in the city.
Dr. Eva Sapač, art historian and conservation advisor at the IPCHS, will present the building history of the modernist villa on Tyrševa, while Dr. Jerneja Ferlež will tell the exciting life story of the owner of the sanatorium, Dr. Mirko Černič, who lived with his family on the first floor of the villa. Join us!
